Cookie Policy

How this website uses cookies and similar technologies, and how you can manage them.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that are placed on your computer or mobile device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work more efficiently and provide information to the website owners.

At Telescope Sports (Chiliz Sports S.L.), we keep this to a minimum. This website sets no cookies of its own, shows no advertising and does not follow you to other websites. This policy lists everything it stores on your device or reads from it, and the services that receive data from your browser when you use it.

How we use cookies and similar technologies

We use them for four reasons only:

  • To remember the theme you choose, light or dark
  • To protect our forms from spam and abuse
  • To count visits and measure how fast our pages load, without cookies and without identifying you
  • To play the XTB case-study film you ask to watch, from YouTube

Types of cookies and similar technologies we use

1. Strictly necessary (always active)

These are needed to provide a service you ask for, such as sending us a brief or signing up for our newsletter. They do not need your consent.

What we use:

  • Cloudflare Turnstile: protects the brief and the newsletter sign-up on our Contact page from spam and abuse. It loads only when you first interact with one of those forms: its script comes from Cloudflare (challenges.cloudflare.com), its check runs in a frame on that domain, and it sets no cookie on this website. To tell people from bots, Cloudflare processes your IP address and technical signals from your browser and device. Inside that frame, Cloudflare may keep strictly necessary data of its own, under its own cookie policy.

See Cloudflare's Turnstile Privacy Addendum.

2. Preferences

These remember a choice you make on this website. They are stored only when you make that choice, stay in your browser and are never sent to us.

What we use:

  • Theme (ts-theme, in your browser's local storage): remembers whether you picked the light or the dark theme. It is stored only when you press one of the theme buttons and stays until you clear this website's data in your browser. Without it, you see the dark theme.

We do not store your language. It is part of the web address (for example, /it for Italian and /es for Spanish), and this website never changes it on its own.

3. Statistics (cookieless)

These help us understand how visitors use our website and how fast it is. We use Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights, from Vercel, the company that hosts this website. Neither uses cookies or stores anything on your device, and neither follows you to other websites. We see only aggregated figures.

What we collect:

  • Vercel Web Analytics: each page view, with the page address, the website that sent you, your approximate location (country, region and city) and your device type, operating system and browser. Instead of a cookie, Vercel tells visits apart with a hash of the request your browser sends, which it discards after 24 hours.
  • Vercel Speed Insights: how fast each page loads and responds (Web Vitals), with the page address, your country, your network speed and your device type, operating system and browser. It is not tied to you or to your IP address.

For more information, see Vercel's privacy notes for Web Analytics and Speed Insights:

4. Marketing cookies

We use none. This website has no advertising cookies, no social media pixels and nothing that tracks you across websites. The YouTube player for the XTB film is loaded only if you open that film, and any storage it uses is Google's, under Google's policies.

How to control and manage cookies

The website's own storage needs no consent, so it shows no cookie banner and has no cookie settings for it. The one exception is the XTB film: its YouTube player loads only when you press its button, and you can simply not open it. You stay in control:

1. Your theme

Press the other theme button at any time to change it, or clear this website's data in your browser to remove the stored choice.

2. Browser settings

Most web browsers allow you to control cookies and other website data through their settings. You can typically find these settings in the "Options" or "Preferences" menu of your browser. Here are links to cookie settings for popular browsers:

If you block storage, this website still works and shows the dark theme. If you block Cloudflare's frame or scripts, our forms cannot be sent.

Third parties

Three service providers receive data from your browser on this website: Vercel, which hosts it, serves its pages, images and videos and provides the statistics above; Cloudflare, which provides Turnstile; and YouTube (Google), which plays the XTB case-study film when you ask to watch it. Turnstile's script comes from Cloudflare and its check runs in a frame on Cloudflare's own domain, under Cloudflare's terms. The YouTube player is served from youtube-nocookie.com in privacy-enhanced mode and loads only after you press the film's button; Google then receives your IP address and browser details and, after playback, may store data in your browser under Google's policies. No advertising network or social network runs here, and no other third party sets cookies on this website. The links to our social media profiles open those websites only when you click them.

Updates to this cookie policy

This policy was changed on 2026-10-27 to describe the embedded XTB film and is pending legal review. We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons, and we change the date at the top when we do. If we ever want to use cookies or similar technologies that need your consent, we will ask for it first. Please check this page periodically for updates.
